School referral for student counselling

Schools are busy places whose primary goal is to educate students. School Psychology Services will support schools and help individuals cope with a variety of mental health issues.

Reasons why schools might refer to us :

• School refusal or anxiety.
• Study anxiety.
• Depression.
• Friendship issues at school that are causing significant distress to an individual.
• Interpersonal therapy.
• Life or personal coaching.
• Stress related to school.
• Family and relationship conflict.

School Psychology Services is registered with Medicare and can provide services under the category of Individual Focused Psychological Strategies provided by a psychologist.

Communication with schools

School Psychology Services provides open communication with schools about the welfare of students. We believe that a team approach is the best was to manage individuals.
